Numbers for each issue
Open a sent issue on the Issues tab to see these numbers.
| Number | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Sent | Emails delivered to the mail server |
| Queued | Emails still waiting, for example over the daily limit |
| Failed | Emails that could not be sent |
| Skipped | Not sent because the contact unsubscribed, bounced and so on |
| Opened | People who opened the email (readers who block images are not counted) |
| Clicked | People who clicked a link in the issue |
Treat the open rate as a rough guide. Clicks tell you more about what readers care about.
What stops automatically
We stop emailing these contacts for you. You do not need to do anything.
- People who click the unsubscribe link, including the "Unsubscribe" button in Gmail and other mail apps
- Addresses that bounce, for example because they no longer exist
- People who report the email as spam (complaints)
- People who reply asking you to stop, when the AI reply assistant is on
Their status on the Subscribers tab changes to unsubscribed, bounced or complained.
