By: Kazushi Inui (Newsletter Ready) ・ Last updated:

How to move your subscriber list from Benchmark Email to Newsletter Ready. The Benchmark Email steps follow its official help pages as of October 27, 2026. If a screen has changed, check Benchmark Email's help as well.

1. Export your list from Benchmark Email

  • In Benchmark Email, go to “Contacts” → (the list to export) → “More Options” → “Export to File” → “Download as CSV” and export a CSV file.
  • The CSV file downloads straight away.
  • Unsubscribed: export these separately from “Contacts” → “Master Unsubscribe List” → (⋯ menu) → “Export to file” → “EXPORT AS CSV”.
  • Bounced (undeliverable): export these separately from “Reports” → (the email you sent) → “Activity Details” → “Bounces” → “Export to File” → “Download as CSV”.
  • Bounced addresses can only be exported one sent email at a time. Export them for your recent sends.

2. Import it into Newsletter Ready

  • Sign up for Newsletter Ready for free and create your organization.
  • Open Subscribers → “+ Add subscribers” → “Switch from another service” and choose Benchmark Email.
  • Choose all the CSV files you exported. Unsubscribed and bounced people are detected from the file names and status columns.
  • Choose why you may email these people (usually opt-in consent you collected at your old service) and add them.
