AI email spam checker: find risky wording and fix it
Worried your newsletter looks like spam? Paste the subject line and body, and AI points out the content issues that actually carry risk, such as a misleading subject, pushy urgency or a missing unsubscribe link, with a fix for each. To be upfront: whether you land in the spam folder depends far more on your sender reputation and domain authentication than on your wording. The results say so too.
How to use it
- Paste the subject line and the full body of the email you plan to send, including link URLs, signature and unsubscribe line.
- Click “Generate with AI” to get an overall note plus each issue, why it matters and how to fix it.
- Then run the SPF, DKIM & DMARC checker on your sending domain, because authentication matters more than wording.
Spam filtering is mostly about the sender, not the words
Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook mainly look at sender reputation, authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), how recipients engage, how often they report spam, and bounces. Since 2024, Gmail requires senders of 5,000+ messages a day to set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, offer one-click unsubscribe and keep the reported spam rate below 0.3%.
Old lists of “spam trigger words” are largely outdated. Using “free” or “sale” once will not send you to spam, so this tool tells the AI not to flag ordinary words on their own.
Content issues that still matter
- A subject that doesn’t match the email, or a fake “Re:” or “Fwd:”: readers feel tricked and hit “Report spam.”
- ALL CAPS, strings of “!!!” and fake deadlines: they erode trust and raise complaints and unsubscribes.
- Image-only or link-only emails and URL shorteners: there is little to read, and filters treat hidden destinations with suspicion.
- No sender name, postal address or unsubscribe link: CAN-SPAM requires them, and readers who can’t opt out use the spam button instead.
What this tool can and can’t tell you
It reviews only the subject and text you paste. It can’t see your domain’s DNS records, your IP or domain reputation, your complaint rate or your list quality, so it never predicts “inbox” or “spam” and gives no score. Check authentication with the SPF, DKIM & DMARC checker, and see who sends mail as your domain with the DMARC report reader. Your text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic’s Claude) and not stored.
FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. No signup needed, up to 10 runs an hour.
No issues found. Does that mean I won’t land in spam?
No. It means the wording shows no notable risk. Inbox placement depends mostly on authentication, sender reputation and engagement, so check those too.
My emails already go to spam. Where should I start?
Confirm SPF, DKIM and DMARC are set up and aligned, then remove bounced and long-inactive addresses from your list. Polishing the wording comes after that.
